Hello,
I am a medical graduate with a Master's degree in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics from Newcastle University, where my research specialized in Cancer Pathology, Pharmacology, and Drug Discovery. Alongside my academic and research pursuits, I have a strong passion for teaching, which I have been actively involved in since 2009. Over the years, I have delivered engaging sessions and lectures across science, biomedical, and medical subjects.
I have also successfully completed teaching certifications at Newcastle University, including "Teaching and Learning in the Classroom" (TLC) and "Understanding Programmes of Learning" (UPL).
Having taken time to focus on my internationally recognized research, I am now returning to teaching and offering an updated range of subjects, including:
Biology (SAT/AS/A2 Level)
Molecular Biology
Immunology/Microbiology
Clinical Biochemistry
Molecular Pathology
Pharmacology
In addition to my teaching experience, I am a certified peer reviewer (Elsevier), which underscores my expertise and dedication to academic excellence. I am available to tutor and guide research students in both high school and university level.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss how I can help with your learning needs, please feel free to get in touch.
The listed prices reflect the "Starting From" rate for the first 60-minute online session. Additionally, you will receive a 25% discount on your first session (60 minutes) without any commitment. IF you decide to continue, depending on the number of sessions (above 5), I can offer 10% discount.
Please note that intensive sessions, such as those focused on exam preparation and solving exam-related questions, may incur higher charges depending on the complexity of the topics.
3) Given being certified peer-reviewer and as per FirstTutor's policy, regarding assistance with your dissertation or thesis, I can only offer guidance and proofreading in the form of feedback or a summative assessment. For example, I will point out areas where scientific clarity or accuracy needs improvement and provide comments on those sections. Additionally, I will assess whether your work adheres to an academic style format. The cost will depend on the time spent which is determined by factors such as the word count, content complexity, and urgency. Please note that last-minute requests with a deadline of less than 72 hours will incur a higher fee.
*** Please note the following:
1) I do not assist with completing or auditing coursework (e.g., laboratory assignments or similar tasks).
2) While I offer tutoring for SAT (Biology and Chemistry) and AP (Biology), I do not provide preparation sessions for Medical School Entry Exams.
