I teach chemistry at the University and tutoring A level students for more than a decade now. Being an examiner for A level chemistry, I know marking process and examination question style very well and prepare student to hit those "key marking points".
I take proud in tutoring one of the youngest person (child !!) in the UK for GCSE. Most of my students achieve A/ A* in chemistry and pursue their career in to medicine, dentistry and other professional courses.
I teach from various tutoring agency and more testimonial/feedback available on request.
My teaching approach is flexible and tailored to student's need. The in depth knowledge of chemistry, years of experience and passion for teaching enable me to explain complex concepts in more understandable and manageable way.
The comprehensive knowledge of chemistry is crucial at A level, as most of the exam questions requires application of the knowledge rather than just recalling facts. My teaching develops better understanding of the topics which helps students to answer questions with confidence.
I use molecular models for relevant topics (shapes of molecules, Transition metals, Polymer, structure and bonding etc). I provide well prepared colourful mind maps and chart to help students remembering the content for longer. There will be plenty of topic based self-prepared resources to build knowledge from basic to advanced level. I provide support between lessons by email/phone so that student don't have to wait for the next lesson to get answer for the query.
I have enhanced DBS certificate. I teach in the group of two students and do tutoring from my home only.
