Hello! I'm incredibly passionate about guiding students toward their utmost potential in their science education. Witnessing their transformation from struggling to thriving in science is my greatest joy. Since 2017 I have been a Science Curriculum Leader in a London school, and have tutored A-Level, GCSE, and KS3 Biology, Chemistry & Physics since 2013.

Moreover, having co-created KayScience, a successful EdTech platform used by 100+ schools in the UK and Middle East, and gaining a scholarship for an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience at the University of Manchester, coupled with a PGCE and QTS qualifications, substantiates my commitment to educational excellence.

I offer the first lesson free, believing in the effectiveness of my teaching approach. Before our first free lesson, I look forward to speaking to you personally to understand your child’s needs in more detail.

My devotion to science education goes beyond the conventional classroom setting. Co-founding KayScience has allowed me to create over 850 educational videos and a thousands of quizzes and exam resources, aiding thousands of students and teachers worldwide.

Understanding the intricacies of various exam boards like AQA, SYNERGY, OCR, Edexcel, and iGCSE Edexcel, I provide access to exclusive exam questions, ensuring thorough exam preparation.

My tutoring style incorporates patience, compassion, humor, and motivational talks, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. Through KayScience, your child will have access to tailored homework, quizzes, and exam practice, aiding their comprehension and application of scientific concepts.

• Experienced secondary school science teacher in a London school specialising in A-Level, GCSE and KS3 Biology, Chemistry and Physics

• I taught English in the West Bank in Palestine in 2016 for 3 months, as well as Brazil for 2 months

SCIENCE & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
- I previously worked in the oil industry as a petroleum geoscientist exploring for shale gas
- I graduated from the University of Manchester with an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience in 2012 having been awarded a scholarship from a US oil company
- Earth sciences is an interdisciplinary subject which has forced me to develop a deep understanding for physics, chemistry and biology, which is why I have developed the ability to confidently teach all sciences up to a high level

Tutoring Approach

I first aim to identify barriers that are stopping the student from achieving their full potential (lack of self-confidence, weakness on certain aspects of curriculum, poor exam technique etc.)

I then provide a variety of video resources, worksheets, exam questions, one on one teaching and homework which cater to the unique requirements of each student. Each week I set challenging homework tailored to your needs and can be contacted at any time regarding questions and problems with school work if any help is needed.

I set the highest expectations that must be met in order for success to be achieved.

I have a proven track record for all my students achieving their expected target grades at GCSE.
