I am an LSE graduate with a First Class Honours degree in Economics. I achieved 4 A*s at A-Level (Maths/Further Maths/Economics/Chemistry) and 10A*s at GCSE.
I have 4 years of tutoring experience from GCSE to Undergraduate level. The most important thing I have learned is that building a rapport with my students is essential, so I like to keep my lessons slightly less formal. My favourite students have been the ones who ask the most questions - its much easier for me to help if you tell me what you are struggling with!
I believe exam technique and course content are key to exam success and so should be taught alongside each other. I approach each topic by teaching material with a thorough use of examples, testing understanding and setting exam-relevant problems. I am also free to contact after lessons for any quick problems that my students need help with.
