Rosemary's Feedback

Rosemary has been tutoring my son for GCSE biology for the past few months. My son's performance has improved a lot since she started giving the lessons.She takes care to explain every concept clearly. She is excellent in teaching exam techniques which is very vital to gain the top grades. She has lots of resources which she uses to teach him how to answer exam style questions. My son is now very confident with GCSE biology and predicted to achieve level 9.

Rosemary is a fantastic tutor who helped my son achieve an A* in his A-levels this year.
He really enjoyed speaking with her about and delving deep into his favourite subject.
Rosemary is patient, kind and adapts her session very well to the level at which the student works.

Would definitely recommend her and would have used her again if my other children had taken Biology.

Before having Rosemary I felt like I was falling behind in a level biology, but since having weekly sessions I gained much more confidence in exam technique and content for the a level course. I thoroughly enjoyed each session and felt like I definitely developed my skills and grade within biology as a result of the sessions- especially the essay work!
Would definitely recommend as I felt more confident entering my biology a level exams this past June

I am very impressed with Rosemary professionalism, quality and efforts. Would highly recommend!

I had initially arranged the trial lesson with Rosemary. However it didn’t go through. She asked me to pay the fee in advance before the lesson. I found it to be very commercial. It seemed that teaching is not her first priority. I am looking for a tutor/teacher that’s first priority is helping students. I give this rate due to my first impression as I don’t know how she teaches.

Rosemary is one of the best teachers that I have worked with inside or outside of school. She was able to deconstruct various biological processes into diagrams or models which I found very helpful. The lessons are fun and I feel I learned a lot from each tutorial. Rosemary helped me build my confidence in Biology and helped me obtain the level of Biology that I need to progress in my career.

Rosemary is excellent! She is extremely knowledgeable in her subject and is a very good teacher/tutor. My daughter is finding her to be a tremendous support.

Rosemary is a very experienced and friendly teacher who has helped iron out some areas in Biology that were proving tricky to get the hang of with learning remotely from College this year. Fun & Factual - great Combo.

Rosemary is a great tutor. Really friendly, supportive, listens to what the student wants to get out of the sessions, adapts the lessons accordingly but also takes the lead when needed.

Rosemary is a fantastic teacher - knowledgeable, patient and very good at explaining difficult concepts. She is providing online lessons for a young person who is receiving additional support through a children’s charity and she has managed to find a good balance between showing tremendous understanding for his situation at the same as setting clear boundaries and expectations. I would highly recommend her.

Update: After working with Rosemary for the second year of A levels my grades in Biology increased quickly from a B/C grade to an A* overall in the final papers, due to the in depth, knowledgeable support she offered. I was absolutely delighted in the A* result! I felt much more confident answering the questions and felt much more in tune with what examiners were looking for in answers. Rosemary is an absolute joy to meet. My daughter enjoyed her sessions with Rosemary, & found that she understood things in Biology alot more clearly once Rosemary had talked them through with her. Rosemary inspired my daughter to study better, & feel prepared for her A level - my daughter rated Rosemary very highly as a tutor.
