I am a semi retired Secondary School Science Teacher. The first half of my career was spent working and teaching abroad and the latter half in the UK. I no longer work in schools but am an Examiner for AQA marking GCSE Science papers.
Tutoring Experience
Secondary Science 11-16yrs teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined and Integrated Science, for GCE, IGCE, IGCSE and GCSE. Also 16-18yrs Biology A level.
Taught in Nigeria (Cross River State), Spain, Canary Islands and UK.

Restoring self confidence for a subject is an essential part of Tutoring. As is explaning misunderstood concepts, going over topics missed or not explained thoroughly in the first place.
Most students have an exam goal to aim for - so a positive approach to answering exam questions is a tutoring essential.
