My main passion is helping those students who struggle with achieving passing grades in GCSE English. My main goal is in helping these students move from 'D' grades to 'C' grades, and from 'C' grades to 'B' grades.
I live in Porthcawl, South Wales with my fiance and daughter and our dog, Ralph. I enjoy cricket, rugby, football, reading and lively debate. I am passionate about good education and how it can act as a positive catalyst for a young person's future prospects.
I am a Further Education (16-19) and Adult Education (19+) lecturer with eleven years of experience in the sector. I also have a range of experience teaching Secondary school classes from Years 7-11. In my current role, I am responsible for working with young people aged 14-16 who have become disengaged from their school careers. I have also worked for the WJEC for several years and am familiar with the examinations process and expectations in that process. Such familiarity has enabled me to help learners know exactly what needs to be done in an exam setting.
Entirely dependent on the needs of the client. I can provide you with conversational Welsh, or I can prepare you for an A-level English paper. We negotiate in your first session what you need and I give my professional opinion on how I can help you. I never take on a learner whom I don't believe I can help.
