Qualified and experienced GCSE and A level Physics Teacher, recently retired, based in Southgate, North London.
I have also taught and examined Electronics in the past.
Currently an examiner for Edexcel IGCSE Physics.

Tutoring Experience

I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE from Birmingham University. I have a degree in Applied Physics and Electronics from Durham University.
I have teaching experience in State, Independent and Sixth Form College. I am a former Head of Department.
I also have plenty of experience tutoring one to one, online and in person.

Tutoring Approach

I will endeavour to identify what students do and do not understand within a topic, then cover the areas they need help with and assess their understanding through suitable written questions (exam questions where appropriate).
I have a bank of assessment and study material for GCSE and A level which I can use in lessons or give to students to use as further practice.
I am able to tutor online or in person.
Although retired from teaching I do have other commitments which mean my availability may vary sometimes.
