Having studied Veterinary Science and a master's in wildlife health, I now work in the veterinary industry. Currently, I am only offering teaching online via zoom or teams. I have ample experience teaching online over the last few years so please contact me to discuss this further.

As a recent master’s student, I understand and empathise with the pressure students feel from exams, but they are always possible to ace with the right attitude and resources! Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching students from 11+ onwards as I worked as a science tutor during my sixth form for younger pupils, and I continue to tutor up to A level standard. Online lessons have been my primary teaching platform for the last 5 years which my students have particularly enjoyed due to the privacy and convenience this service provides.

During my A levels, I spent a month teaching at Flying Angels School in Zambia, where I learned the value of engaging students, and how to utilise creative teaching techniques.

Tutoring Approach

I base my classes around your questions and topics you need guidance with. In our first lesson, we will discuss your goals and plan how to achieve them together. I appreciate that everyone learns in their own way, so I aim to keep students engaged with exciting teaching methods and a relaxed environment, no matter their studying level. An emphasis on exam technique and time management may benefit older students, however, I would use interactive puzzles and games to hold the interest of younger pupils. I will follow whichever curriculum you are studying to help you gain the most out of every session! Anything from past paper practice and marking, to specific homework questions, I'm here to help :) With my older students, I like to keep in contact with them between lessons so they are free to ask me questions throughout the week too. My previous students' feedback highlighted this as one of the most valuable forms of engagement which gave them the confidence to dive into the resources I provided in their own time.
