I am a mother of two who works full time as a tutor at a secondry school in london leading seminars where i teach small focus groups chemistry, physics and biology and go over any topics that the students may suggest they need further understanding. I studied chemistry, physics and math in my country Morocco. I also have obtained a bachelor degree in pharmaceutical Studies, which I achieved in 2011 from Kingston University in collaboration with St George's University of London. I also have English GCSE grade B and GCSE math grade A. Due to my teaching, i keep up to date with the syllabus for all the exam boards. I am a very organised person therefore i always plan for the session in order for the student to maximise there learning time with me.
I always ensure that the student understands and make sure that i address the relevant topics with them efficiently.
I have previously worked with Mother Nature Science doing After School Club Science in Primary Schools as well as Science Birthday Parties. At the moment, I am working at Lilian Baylis Secondary School. I do Physics, Chemistry and Biology seminars for AS and A2 student. Beside that, I teach Arabic up to GCSE in the same school. I have a lot of experience working with different students with different levels and abilities. Up till now, I have managed to help my students to achieve high grades and therefore the parent are very satisfied with the tutoring provided.
I was employed at a Secondary school,as an SEN teaching assistant working mainly in science and french and was promoted to lead 6th form science study seminars. The way I teach is as follow:
I go through a specific topic with the student and make sure he/she understand it, then practice a lot of questions. If the student have any problem, we discuss the issue and resolve it. I also get students to draw mind maps, find ways to memorise formulae and anything else that needs memory.
In addition to that, I get student to practice the past exam papers and teach him/her some techniques on how to tackle and answer the question properly.
