I am a Lead Practitioner for Science at a secondary school, specialising in all science's at key stage 3, 4 and A-level Biology. I would describe my self as a very passionate teacher who came into teaching with the intention of making a difference in the lives of students . I enjoy what I do and take a very professional approach to all aspects of my teaching. Teaching for me does not end in the classroom, I believe technology will be fundamental in the learning of this and the next generation of learners. This has led to develop a website (www.singhscience.co.uk) from which I publish lesson materials and any other resources I feel my students may find helpful.
I have been teaching for over five years in a secondary school. This has involved working with key stage 3, 4 and 5. I have been involved in teaching A-level biology and triple Science in both Physics and Biology.
I take a very personalised approach to tutoring, I believe that all students learn in different ways and therefore I do not have a specific style. However I do go into every tutoring assignment with specific goals, therefore I would firstly speak to the tutee and look to establish what specifically he or she wants to gain from the sessions and how best both of us feel this can be achieved.
