Mathematics fascinates me and it is a subject that I thoroughly enjoy. I have completed my PGCE with QTS with the Gorse SCITT which has helped me develop and deepen my subject knowledge and pedagogy, and been fundamental in my current role as a secondary school maths teacher. I have a full time post in a secondary school and am currently in my third year of teaching. My aim is to inspire, encourage, and motivate children and young people with a fun, patient, approachable and engaging manner.

Tutoring Experience

I have 4 years tutoring experience, both face-to-face and online. I always encourage students to do their best. I adapt lessons to each individual student depending on how they learn best and what is required to help them achieve. I am happy to set additional work to encourage students to practice what they have learnt but each family differs in their approach to this. I offer online tutoring up to GCSE however, I also provide extra tuition to younger students who may need to boost their confidence in maths.

I am a friendly, approachable, persistent, and ultra-reliable person, who prides herself on going the extra mile, to ensure that your child fulfils their potential. I am passionate about making a significant impact in all my students’ education, doing my best to achieve and exceed their target grades. I build positive relationships with my students which helps to boost their confidence by making maths fun, simple and enjoyable.
I always provide feedback to parents on how their child is progressing. I have an enhanced DBS to ensure your child is safe during my tutoring lessons.
