This is how 2 referees rated Walpita Rahul:
My name is Rahul. I am a trainee anaesthetist who graduated from Imperial College London. I offer help in several academic areas including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and medicine.
I finished my undergraduate degree when I was 19, with a BSc in biochemistry in 2007 from the University of Vermont, and then proceeded to get a MBBS/BSC from Imperial College.
I completed my A Levels in 2004 with an A grade in every module of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and further mathematics.
I believe that you will be in safe hands to achieve the high grades you desire. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, and I would be delighted to answer.
I have 12 years of teaching experience. I have tutored GCSE and A/L students in physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics (including further mathematics, mechanics and statistics) since I moved to London 5 years ago. During my 3 years at the University of Vermont I tutored undergraduates in chemistry (1st, 2nd, & 3rd years), biology (1st, 2nd, & 3rd years), mathematics (1st & 2nd years), and physics (1st & 2nd years). As an A/L student I tutored GCSE students in physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.
Please see below for my feedback.
My teaching style focusses on the core concepts of the subject, an application of this core knowledge to practical examples, and its subsequent association within exam questions. My teaching will be tailored to your individual needs, wants and expectations. I will focus on the setting and achievement of goals with a structured study plan. I will also supply relevant course handouts and reading material where possible.
My experience with students, over the last 12 years, has lead me to believe that most students when taught under the right conditions can learn the required material in a very short time. This can be done by applying the concepts of the theory to every day situations, with which most are familiar, so an integrated understanding can be achieved. I have over my years of teaching gathered such analogies, and thus am able to help student learn and remember the material in a very short time.
My goal is to help you achieve yours!

I had little to no knowledge or understanding on Physics because I had never been taught it properly, since having started physics with Rahul I am finally growing and bettering myself within this subject.
I would like to thank Rahul again for all the help with Maths and Physics and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help in those areas.

He has given advice & techniques in tackling revision (which I have considerable difficulty with… ) and exam techniques!
In a short amount of time, we've gone through the whole A-Level OCR units as well as an AS-Level unit! With his help I hope I can achieve a higher grade in my Biology exams :) I would like to thank him again for helping me!

I have previously responded to your request stating my dauther was very pleased with all the enthusiasm and assistance you provided as this really helped her get to grips with certain problems. Thank you.
However, I hope you will respect my request of keeping our names confidential.
Thank you so much for Harry's first session with you. He really enjoyed it and feels much for confident about Physics now. He is working as you suggested before his next session on Monday. I will get him to add some feedback to this before he sees you next.
Thank you Rahul
