I have limited availability until the June exams - Wednesday early evenings / Friday 9am to 10 am and 5.30 to 6.30 / Sunday 8.30am to 9.30 am.
I am a very experienced examiner, head of department and tutor for Psychology & Sociology A level / GCSE.
I am an experienced examiner for marking psychology & sociology exam papers and therefore have a good knowledge of exam board requirements. I have been teaching for 18 years. I have always had positive feedback from parents and students, some of which can be seen on this site.
I am used to working with students with very diverse needs and can support students to progress with tailored support for the individual student.
Off peak rate Monday to Friday - 9am to 3pm - £55
Peak rate after 4pm & weekends -£65
Tutoring Experience
I have taught A level psychology and sociology for 18 years, I have examined for 13 years covering a mixture of exam boards and papers for both psychology and sociology. I am happy to assist with AQA for psychology & sociology, OCR for sociology.
Tutoring Approach
I am a friendly supportive teacher who tries to make ideas and concepts understandable. I use a lot of praise and am experienced with working with students from 15 to 19 years of age. I enjoy helping young people achieve and gain the grades they should be achieving.
