Information About Peter - Filey tutor - (5 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Peter:
I am 65 years old, married with two children and three grandchildren. We moved to Filey 5 years ago after I retired from teaching full-time. I have always enjoyed all sports and have coached rugby for a number of years at Junior level;. I still play squash regularly and play the saxophone for fun.
I began teaching in London after working in the Midlands for a car component manufacturer. I was Head of Maths for about 20 years in a number of schools then worked as a Numeracy Consultant for Essex until I retired. I have taught part-time at Filey School and also at Scarborough Sixth Form College.
I enjoy teaching, helping students to overcome difficulties that they may have with maths and give them the confidence to succeed. I try to tailor the tuition to the needs of the student and to bring the subject to life. I use games and problems to make the lessons interesting and believe that maths should be enjoyed as well as a means to an end.

And makes my son feel confident and at ease .
He seems to have fantastic knowledge of maths which is definitely helping and would recommend him to anyone… thank you .
and for the respond of Mr Peter
Glen is enjoying his lessons, the revision programme is excellent and his confidence has grown considerably during this first week. He is now looking forward to his army assessment days away and feels so much more prepared.
I am sure these lessons will give him his best shot at what his aiming for.
Many thanks to you.
