Tutoring Experience

I have been a Physics teacher in academic, high-performing schools (state and private) for the past 30 years. In this time have been Head of Physics and Deputy Headmaster. I am now a part-time Physics teacher in The Blue School Wells, Somerset alongside private tutoring (see Google Reviews for High Flying Physics). Tutoring Approach

With years of experience I undertsand the stumbling blocks for students getting top grades. My strength is to quickly diagnose misconceptions and gaps in knowledge/understanding. I use excercises/questions to correct these misunderstandings and to embed concepts.

More recently I have also developed a specialism in effective online tuition. Having invested time in developing resources, high quality hardware and exploiting features of a digital class book, I am able to provide an extremely engaging and high-quality remote learning experience.
