My name is Paul and I am a French with Italian BA Graduate from the University of Southampton. As part of my course, I spent 6 months as the English Language Assistant at the prestigious Lycee Bernard Palissy in Agen, Lot-et-Garonne. Since graduating I have worked for French companies, and have an excellent understanding of the French people, their lovely language and how to get this message across to students. I am an experienced business executive and recently qualified executive coach. My tutoring starts with an assessment both of current level in French, goals for achievement, and just as importantly understanding your Learning Styles (Aural, Visual and Kinetic). I then tailor lessons and my approach accordingly ... with fun, achievement, improvement and success at the heart of everything we will do together !

Tutoring Approach

I use my University and Assistant experience to make sure that my students understand the basis and basics of the language, how it links to Latin and the Romance languages, and how they can understand and appreciate French. Of course, the building blocks of the language are key and I use these as well as a respect for the language as the mainstays of what I offer in my tutoring. You can expect a rigorous approach to grasping the fundamentals of the language, and a path to growth and success. Added to this, I ake sure that my lessons are tailored for individual students and where possible, they are fun !
