Information About Stephen - Nottingham tutor - (16 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Stephen:
I am an enthusiastic person by nature and this applies to my teaching style, namely making it fun to learn at whatever level I am applying myself too.
I do also provide tuition during the summer holidays to bring students up to speed in subjects or for general revision purposes, and this includes preparation for BMAT and UKCAT, for applications for Medicine and associated subjects. Similarly, I provide assistance in preparing personal statements for UCAS applications.
I have been in the profession for over twenty years, both in the state and public sector, and for the last 10 years also being a private tutor.
I expect the best from my students and I give my best as well.
Many of my students have gone on to Oxford and Cambridge, and this is the standard I teach to in this competitive world.
P.S. If arranged lessons are cancelled at short notice (less than 6 hours warning), I do charge half the lesson fee.
Please note for travelling distances greater than 3 miles, there might be an additional fee, depending on the number of lessons booked.

To be honest I wish I had contacted him earlier on in my studies as he is very good at clarifying complex ideas.
He also provided a thorough academic UCAS reference at a reasonable price.
I wish him every success.
I am looking forward to starting the lessons in August.
He also didn't reply for several days.
I made it very clear from the start I had few spaces left for lessons and bearing in mind I travel to students, this also involves travel time as well.
He said he was available on Wednesday afternoons.
I then offered him a 2 hour slot this coming Wednesday.
He declined that after saying he had other commitments.
I cannot make spaces for lessons where none exist.
Nor can I give priority to students who have not had any lessons , when several whom I am tutoring have been with me for several years.
It is a shame this happens, but I give as much leeway as possible with Hyun over this very busy period for exam preparation.
Maxwell is a hard working and enthusiastic student, who has engaged my services to better his knowledge of Chemistry and heighten his examination grades.
I stand by my record as a tutor, with many satisfied clients.
What else can you say.
She had only limited availability for lessons , not including weekends, which made arrangements very difficult and going over 10 miles to a destination is very time consuming in a rush hour period, where I am tutoring approx 8 hours a day.
