Osamah

Hello! My name is Osamah and I am a First Class History graduate specialised in English tuition as well Maths up to year 6. My passion for teaching derives from the priceless reaction of a student achieving a good grade. I aim to inspire confidence in students as many children have not yet unlocked their full potential. Helping students become the leaders of tomorrow brings me satisfaction as I know that I am leaving a positive impact on society. I understand that it is hard to concentrate, so I like to provide an array of tasks as I understand this helps retention.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught lessons with as many as 10 students as well as one-to-one sessions. As well as teaching in person, I have lots of experience teaching on Zoom and Skype so I can adapt to any situation. I worked in a tuition centre for over a year and a half, which allowed me to gain the experience needed to teach effectively and produce the best results from my students. I was the most experienced English tutor and was responsible for aiding other tutors.

Tutoring Approach

Having had over 3 years experience teaching children, I am aware that each student has to be tailored to. Therefore, I assess the ability of each student and then proceed with tasks that I feel suit the student's ability. This is also dependent on their academic year and what they are covering in school as well.

I like to build a relationship with students as then it makes the class enjoyable and not just another lesson that they are forced to attend. A wide range of tasks will be provided as I acknowledge that learning through different methods helps retention.
