I attended King Edwards VI Five Ways School where I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels. I continued my mathematical education by obtaining MSc Mathematics (1st) and a PhD Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
I have taught mathematics to students preparing for their GCSEs, mathematics and further mathematics to pupils preparing for their A-Levels, and assisted students with their undergraduate mathematics. During my studies at A-Level, I began assisting fellow students with their work and developing techniques to explain and simplify mathematical concepts to make them more comprehensible to different students.
My school ran additional help sessions for students who required assistance in their GCSE and A-Level mathematics which I also participated in. I also mark A-Level exam papers aswell.
The tuition that I offer is tailored to each student. The techniques I use to teach mathematics have found to be very effective and beneficial. The students that I have taught have expressed that I clearly explain mathematical concepts, improve their mathematical understanding and enhanced their exam performance. They also stated that they found studying mathematics under my supervision to be a very enjoyable experience which they have valued in later life.
