I am currently the Head of Psychology at an inner city school and have taught A-level Psychology for the past 9 years. The majority of my experience involves teaching the AQA specification, but I have also taught CIE and can adapt to other syllabuses also. I have a PGCE in Social Sciences and a Psychology degree from the University of Exeter.

Tutoring Approach
My teaching approach is to first ensure students have grasped the key concepts, terminology and theories that make up their knowledge and understanding for the exam (AO1 skills), before embarking on developing application (AO2) skills and evaluation (AO3). I believe exam practice is essential and incorporate this into every lesson. I also adapt my resources and structure of lessons to meet the needs and requests of individual students to ensure they reach their full potential!
