Oxford and Bristol graduate, and former English & Maths teacher at a top prep school. I've successfully prepped children for MTS, UCS, KCS Wimbledon, City Boys, Eton, Westminster, Haberdashers, QE Grammar, South Hampstead, Habs Girls, Channing, City Girls and Henrietta Barnett. I've just finished my PhD in English at Royal Holloway. I tutor in person in NW3/NW6/NW2/NW11 only and have a superb track record with north London schools - and online via Zoom using online whiteboards for those in other locations in London and abroad. Tutoring Approach

I help children to flourish in English and Maths. As a teacher, writer, and former television producer, my whole approach is to bring real enthusiasm to a child's test prep. I creatively respond to their interests, actively incorporating them into questions. With a sense of humour, I nurture a collaborative relationship. This helps children remember methods and have fun while doing it. Kids can conquer 11+ and 13+ mathematics with my one on one tutoring. Fun and friendly, I have a range of bespoke materials and will enthuse your child so they look forward to their test prep. Fractions, percentages, and complicated word problems are broken down and demystified. Rigorous practice helps them master concepts. As a prep school teacher, I've developed my own unique explanations.

I respond actively to a child's interests, incorporating them in new maths problems written just for them. So, if a child likes Chelsea or Arsenal, they might get questions on the whiteboard based on Hazard or Aubameyang's seasonal goal tally.

I absolutely love what I do. Previously, I was a BBC & Channel Four television producer so incorporate creativity into everything I do.
