I have taught and tutored English to students (Key Stage 2/3 up to GSCE level) for the past thirty five years. Recently, I have been doing voluntary tutoring for a charity linked to boosting the performance of under achieving Year 10 students in a school in Brighton. In my spare time I am writing a historical novel for young readers linked to my Masters Degree in creative writing.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in three independent schools in England and two GPS schools in Australia during my teaching career. Over the past eighteen months I have been helping a Chinese student in Beijing to prepare for his English ISGCSE examination.

I aim to make my teaching fun and enjoyable by ensuring that the lessons are set at the right pace for the student.
