Information About Neil - Milton Keynes tutor - (35 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Neil:
Maths Specialist. I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher and have helped children and students for many years. I enjoy teaching and have taught GCSE and A-level Maths. I have a good grasp of Maths and know how to put Maths concepts across. Maths teaching is my passion and I enjoy interacting with young people.
During my career I have had considerable experience in both the marking and setting of examination papers. I have also been involved in teaching teachers and have presented a number of papers at national conventions.
I am a committed and conscientious person. I understand students' difficulties and what action is required to remedy their problems. It is my aim to motivate and inspire students and encourage them to understand and enjoy Maths. As things fall into place and make sense so students do better and better and really achieve well. I do set homework and expect students to follow up on lessons.
I am also available on Saturdays. I do charge extra for travelling.

Relaxed teaching atmosphere
I very soon discovered that your son did not lack talent and that he responded well to a challenge. Well done on a pleasing GCSE result. Best wishes to him for all his endeavours in this new school year.
He was honest at the end of the session to say he didn't feel suitable and would rather not continue teaching my daughter.
It is hard to give a score since we only had the one session with Neil but I imagine 11+ students may benefit more from Neils' teaching methods than a child at the lower age of primary.
Needless to say, in the GCSEs, Tom jumped 2 grades from his mocks to an 8.
Neil is also a true gentleman, and it was always a pleasure to chat with him.
Anish earned and deserved his A* and I wish him every success in his future studies.
My daughter is in her chosen field and University thanks to Neil's efforts.
Neil managed to bring our daughter up to the required level in a very short amount of time, and has kept me as a parent informed every step of the way.
I would definitely highly recommend Neil, any child requiring help would be fortunate to have Neil Tutor them.
Many thanks Neil for your help and and time!
I would definitely recommend him.
As a parent I feel you are approachable, patient and listen to my concerns about my son.Thank you.
