Trading, economics and financial markets specialist with twenty years of financial services industry knowledge and experience. During this period I have had various roles including analyst at a major bank, risk manager at a major clearing organisation, managing director of an electronic trading software provider, and the last 12 years as an options trader. During this time I have also taught various financial courses including futures and options, electronic trading and Series 3.
I currently teach A-level economics and business studies at an independent 6th form college and also have private tuition clients. I am able to teach all units for the following exam boards: OCR, AQA, and Edexcel.
My approach to tutoring is first to obtain an understanding of a student's strengths and weaknesses. Based on this information, I then tailor my lessons accordingly. My aim is twofold: a) To engage the student by making Economics fun, interesting, and relevant.
b) Make sure that the student is well prepared for any exams by going through past papers and marking schemes thereby strengthening a student's exam technique so that they can reach their full exam potential.
