I am 36 years old and worked in mainstream Primary Education for over ten years before becoming a private tutor. I have a teaching degree in Teaching and Learning from EdgeHill University and I am currently a Residential Child Care Worker as well as Removed tutor since 2014

Tutoring Experience

I worked in Primary Education for 10 years in every year. I have worked with children with SEN and additional needs. Thus I have a sound understanding of what is required when supporting and teaching children with diverse needs. I have a solid understanding of the essential skills and learning outcomes. Having acquired a degree in Teaching Learning and Mentoring I am able to apply my knowledge and skills to any given situation and teach effectively.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in a personalised learning approach whereby children are taught by their preffered learning method. I understand that children learn differently. Some through visually, some through listening and most by doing. I try my best to create fun activities which has us all up and jumping around. I use my Ipad for my teaching and now offer online lessons for students as well as face to face.

I try my best to make sure lessons are different to children sitting in a classroom. If you want to ask anything more, please feel free to message me!
