INFORMATION ABOUT GROUP SESSIONS

The sessions will be held on Saturday/Sunday and it will be maximum of 5 students online on zoom.
The students are grouped into their age ranges and topics that are on the tricker side will be discussed as well as topics that the students suggest and say they need help with
For example, your daughter can also give suggestions to topics she wants to do in the sessions
This is an amazing way to engage in sessions at a reduced cost

Tutoring Experience

My experience in tutoring is highly extensive and broad as I have worked with a diverse range of individuals. I have tutored over 70 students in areas such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Studies and English as well as in professional qualifications such as the IMC qualification and the ICAEW syllabus. Importantly, my work also extends to students who have special needs as I have worked weekly at Strathmore School in Richmond-upon-Thames where I took care of children with disabilities. I have also worked with autistic pupils and pupils with dyslexia, enabling my tutoring approach to be very friendly and supportive.
I am also able to work with bigger groups of students as I have held sessions in a group setting with more than six pupils both online and at a Salesian School in Chertsey where I interned for a month.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is highly dependent on the needs of the student and a 'three-sided relationship' between me, the tutee and the parents involved. I believe in understanding the needs of each tutee, focusing on challenging areas and striving to improve already good areas. Simultaneously, my tutee will always have a voice, and their preferred teaching styles will be adapted in lessons and room will always be available for questions to be asked - both in lessons and after. Their parents will be informed of progress as well as any things that can be done to get us to where we want to be. Practise makes perfect and hard work pays off!
