I am a patient and engaging tutor with a vast amount of resources and knowledge for the English curriculum to share. My lessons give students the opportunity to practise important skills to improve their reading and writing for either general English skills up to GCSE exams.

Tutoring Experience

I am an English teach with 3 years experience teaching in secondary school. I have taught both English literature and English language at GCSE level and
have experience marking exam papers. I have also been tutoring students over that time in preparation for exams. I have lots of experience in improving reading and writing skills for a range of ages.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are interactive and engaging and make the most of the time spent learning. I use study-based evidence to help embed knowledge, making each lesson valuable and constructive. Furthermore, I have an in depth knowledge of the English curriculum through my A-Levels, English degree and then going on to teach years 7 to 11 in a secondary school that covers a wide range of texts. I have also tutored outside of the classroom for over a year, where I have provided resources and valuable practice for upcoming examinations.
