Supporting teaching and learning L2/L3 NVQs
I have taken part in supporting young people and adults developing their careers. Many of my tutees moved on to become teachers and teaching assistants in schools.
I have been involved in teaching KS3 and GCSE Maths for more than 10 years in a high school.
Experienced in teaching maths for children and young people with Dyslexia and other learning needs.
Experienced in teaching maths for adults and young people who are resitting their GCSE.
I am patient with learners and able to differentiate tasks according to their ability and level, reinstating their confidence in understanding difficult mathematical concepts.
I work with students to help them find their own strengths and build on them by revisiting the topics that require improving. I provide differentiated tasks and past papers according to the individual needs of the student. Independent practice will be part of the teaching process to enable the student to build their confidence in thinking and answering the questions.
I am fluent in English and Arabic, and can adapt my teaching and tailor my communication to suit those who come from different backgrounds.
