I am currently a Dental Student at Queen Mary University. Previously I attended a well-renowned sixth form where I adopted numerous methods of learning that I would love to pass onto other students. Showing a consistent interest in maths, through my years at school, has fostered practices that makes learning maths a faster more enjoyable process. I recently gained my A-Level qualifications, so I can assure my knowledge is up to date and from my first hand experience I can understand what students are going through. In addition to this, I have accumulated a list of resources me and my friends personally used, that are current and up to date.

Tutoring Experience

Having experience in working in a tuition centre along as privately tutoring, has benefited me in constantly improving my service. This diversity of experiences has enabled me to select and utilise teaching methods from my peer tutors and combine it with my own.

I have worked with students in group settings as well as 1-2-1 sessions for over 4 years now, across a broad age range.

I have experience in teaching KS1 and KS2, maths and English lessons but my specialities lie in Maths, Biology and Chemistry for GCSE and A-Level.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is tailored to each child as every child holds a varying level of courage in their ability. As a student, I believe I can translate my obstacles into lessons which will essentially boost the student's confidence.

Exam technique will be heavily implemented in my lessons with exam style questions and regular assessments. I hope to also implement good revision techniques that I use myself. Said techniques have been extracted from top students and have been scientifically proven to improve exam performance.
