PHD (Computer Science and Mathematics) || AFHEA || 7+years university level teaching experience in Computer Science and Mathematics

Hello! I have finished Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of York in 2019 after finishing a masters degree in Mathematics. I am currently working as a Data Scientist and am an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

Teaching is my passion and I am a true believer that education promotes awareness and leads to a successful career. I like to share my knowledge in Mathematics and have 7+ years of experience in teaching Mathematics and Computer Science to all level students from high school to advanced university level.

I offer tutoring online at various times during the whole week (timings vary, please feel free to contact me for further details).

I will need some general information about the student's needs in the subject and the name of the referred textbook (if known). This will prepare me for the lessons beforehand to tackle individual student's needs appropriately.

Tutoring Experience

Over the last 7 years, I have gained vast experience in teaching various Mathematics and Computer Science modules at all levels from Beginner to Expert. My teaching experience includes Discrete Mathematics, Algebra, Trignometry, Logic, Arithmetic, Numerical Algebra, Statistics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and more.

Tutoring Approach

I am a friendly tutor and like to fit my teaching approach according to the student needs.

I understand that every student has different ways to learn and I make sure that student understands a concept before moving onto the next one.

I give practice questions to students after every tutoring session followed by feedback and discussion on the student's solutions.
