Hi, my name is Moutusi, a well-prepared Chemistry and Biology Tutor who wants to deliver the highest quality of one-to-one tutoring online. I would like to assists students in their development and understanding of life and living organisms. I am confident that my passion and drive towards the subject will allow students to view me not only as their subject tutor but as a role model and friend. I believe that this will help the students to take a genuine interest in their learning. To get the best outcome from kids I prefer to invest time into researching schools/resources, preparing for lessons, marking, and of course communicating with various parties to ensure the best result. With a background in education, I am pretty much confident to plan tutoring sessions and an age-appropriate curriculum. Would like to explore my ability to teach students from diverse cultures and build up strong human relations skills.

Tutoring Experience

I have in-depth knowledge of Biology and Chemistry courses with 5 years of teaching experience as a home teacher of my kids. Also, I have experience tutoring Biology for IGCSE students. I ensure that my lessons are interesting and provide variety. I listen to the kids attentively and benefit from the feedback that they provide, thus enabling me to cater to their learning styles and teach them in a way that they are going to acquire knowledge and be able to make use of it when answering questions.

Tutoring Approach

The most important aim of my tutoring is to clear the concept of the subject topic and master exam technique. In addition, question banks will be provided for each topic which helps students prepare for the exam right from the beginning. My first introductory tutoring lesson will be free and lasts about 30 mins as I would like to assess and understand how the student learns best. This will help me to gain an understanding of their learning ability and utilize these methods when teaching them. It will also enable me to get a feel for what their subject knowledge is like. It isn't about me wanting to impart knowledge and information in a way that I think to be right, but more to do with the way/methods the student will learn best.
