Computer Studies / I.T.
Hi! I'm Michelle a computing teacher from Dumbarton. I would describe myself as a fun but hard working person that knows what she wants and works hard to get it. I believe that things are possible if you put in the effort to make them possible.
As well as enjoying teaching and all things computing and technology I enjoy sports and keeping fit. I am a keen football fan and enjoying watching the game at all levels.
I spend my free time socialising with family and friends and enjoying the things in life I have worked hard for.
I have been a qualified secondary teacher for 9 years, 2 of which a principal teacher. I have presented pupils at all levels of SQA exams.
As well as being a classroom teacher I offer revision workshops during Easter school holidays for SG credit and higher pupils.
My exam results have been very good and there are many pupils that recommend me as a fun, friendly and hard working tutor.
I think tutoring is providing young people with help in a way that's not possible in a classroom, breaking topics down and putting a real-life spin on them to help you understand and remember.
I am clear and concise in my explanations and provide all the resources that you need to improve your grades.
My tutoring style involves you writing, saying and doing tasks to further your knowledge and understanding. As well as my time with you I provide continual support via email, so my help is never far away.

I was correct in stating that Unit Assessments are not required for passing National 5. They can be used by teachers to estimate a pupils grade but have no value with the SQA.
I am sorry I could not accommodate your wants on that one occasion and that you do not want further support for your daughter as I said before I wish her well.
It really was my pleasure helping Reiss, he is a credit to you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the best results. If in the future I can be of any assistance please don't hesitate to contact me. Take care. Michelle
