I am an experienced, patient and reassuring professional. I care deeply about my students and their approach to science. I like to build confidence so my students can tackle more challenging problems with the comfort of a teacher to bounce their ideas off and seek reassurance.
Teaching is my passion and like to see my students succeed to their the next stage in their education confident in their abilities. I am flexiable and can, most of the time Removed booked at the last minute or with very little time to exams. It is never too late to make a difference!
I am an experienced tutor of chemistry, physics and biology to Key Stage four and chemistry KS5 (A-level). I have been tutoring for over 8 years' and an experienced teacher of 6 years. I am the head of chemistry at my current school. My previous students have all achieved grades between 7-9 in chemistry and physics. At Key Stage 3, my students have achieved the top grades in their classes.
I provide engaging lessons and moviate my students by tailoring lessons to suite their preferred style of learning as well challenging their misconceptions in science. Questioning, reasoning and exam questions are apart of my tool-kit.
My aim is make science more understandable and with that more enjoyable; in turn producing great exam results so my students can take the next step in their education. I am supportive, patient and build my students' confidence. I can also be available most times at short notice to fill in the missing pieces of knowledge for exams.
