Thank you for taking the time out to leave such inaccurate feedback. It is interesting to see how petty you became, you contacted me but then instead of giving me the opportunity to reply back you blocked me from doing so and then decided to leave the negative feedback.

In your feedback you mentioned several points which I will respond to individually.

You contacted me about tutoring your son on a Friday. We discussed on the website about potential day/times, before this was confirmed you purchased my details.

On Friday you messaged me on WhatsApp to discuss the tutoring, I called you as I felt this would be more personal and appropriate, it would also be easier for us both.

You said you lived abit further away from me so I offered to check my driving distance from my other place of work (yes I work!) however it would not be viable as the driving distance would be too much, and there would be much more traffic on an evening of a weekday so we agreed that Sunday would be work for both. I said I would confirm with you on the Monday as I would have to shuffle my day around (which would involve contacting the other parents) to be able to meet that timing.

You then suggested that you wanted to seek financial support. For this I have a separate rate. This is merely because I have to cover my overhead costs such as insurance, registration fees and so forth. That is why I said £30 an hour.

In terms of where I work, I am still a Secondary Maths teacher however, I quit full time work in this summer just gone to work part time. This means that I have more flexibility with my tutoring, so contrary to what you said, I am still a teacher!

In terms of my availability, I was away for that coming Sunday (yes I’m human and I do sometimes take time off work) and so I suggested the following week. However, as you wanted to pursue the financial support route I would have to get some paperwork in order, and you would have to contact the relevant people too. This would give us both time to do so. It did not mean I was available a month later as you made it out to be. You contacted me Telephone Number Removed and I said I would be available Telephone Number Removed That according to my calculations is still November. That does not mean I was not immediately available.

To say that I am not serious about my job is incredibly rude, I work very hard. You cannot make judgments on the nature of someone’s work via a few messages and a phone call. I mean it was pretty petty and rude to block me on WhatsApp when I did nothing wrong! You also mentioned I’m money driven… you’re asking for a refund now and you wanted financial support. Very rude and disrespectful at the very least.
