ABOUT ME

I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Economics BSc from University College London (UCL), graduating as one of the top students in my class. I have been teaching, tutoring and running crash courses in A-level Economics, A-level Mathematics and GCSE Mathematics for the past 12 years.

My mission is simple – to get each and every one of my students AT LEAST an A in their subject. I have a passion for teaching and helping my students achieve A* grades in their GCSE and A-level exams. Without exception, every student I've taught has secured at least an 'A' grade, with the majority achieving an A* grade. My expertise lies in Economics, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics, both at GCSE, iGCSE and A-level.

I am results driven, making sure that every single part of the syllabus for the course is covered and that my student is 100% ready to perform better than expected in their exam. I truly believe that I can help any student achieve at least an A in either Mathematics or Economics no matter what their current level is and have not yet been proven wrong! I have had students that were on D grades after their January mock exams that have come to me and subsequently achieved A* grades in their final exams the same year. I am fully confident in my ability to deliver top results for my students.

Alongside my academic tutoring expertise, I am also trained in performance psychology . This allows me to support students in building the focus, resilience, confidence, and self-belief necessary to consistently achieve outstanding results under exam pressure.

Tutoring Experience

TEACHING

Over the past 12 years, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching, tutoring, and delivering tailored programmes for families, independent schools, academies, and small groups. My experience ranges from one to one tuition with students to founding and directing a leading tuition academy, where I trained and managed a team of top tier tutors delivering crash courses and intervention programmes under my guidance.

I currently oversee the Economics Department at a private college in Hampstead, having previously led the A-level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Economics departments at a prestigious independent school in London. Today, my focus is on working closely with families on a one to one basis, combining my depth of experience and passion for education to ensure every student is fully supported to achieve their highest potential. I currently tutor more than 30 students each week, both privately and in small group sessions.

RESULTS

Every student I've tutored has either met or exceeded their predicted grades, achieving A or A* at A-level and grades 8 or 9 at GCSE in the subjects I've tutored them in. I have a passion for teaching and helping my students get the highest grade they can.

• My university students mostly come from The London School of Economics and University College London, this is because I am most familiar with the Economics course structure/programme at these universities as well as the exam format. However, sometimes I do work with students from other universities.

In addition to these, I have a proven track record of effectively tutoring students with specific learning needs, such as dyspraxia, dyslexia, ADHD, dysgraphia, and other learning differences, tailoring my approach to best cater to each individual's unique requirements.

TYPE OF TUITION

I provide tuition both in-person and online:

• Face-to-face Tuition: All in-person sessions are conducted at my residence in Marylebone, London.

• Online Tuition: For digital sessions, I utilise my MacBooks and a virtual whiteboard to effectively explain concepts and make the learning process interactive.

Tutoring Approach

The real advantage of tutoring lies in the ability to adapt every lesson to the individual student. No two learners are the same, and what holds them back can vary: sometimes it’s a small gap in knowledge or weaknesses in exam technique, other times they may not have engaged fully at school, found the content unclear, or lost confidence due to a setback or a teacher mismatch. My role is to identify exactly what is holding a student back, close those gaps, and guide them through the syllabus with clarity while equipping them with the tools and strategies to achieve the very highest grade they are capable of.

With over 12 years of tutoring experience and regular collaboration with examiners, I have developed a precise understanding of how different exam boards allocate marks, particularly in Economics. This allows me to sharpen essay writing, refine exam technique, and show students how to maximise marks under exam pressure.

Above all, my approach is results driven but also supportive: I focus not only on subject mastery but also on building confidence, discipline, and self-belief. When these elements come together, students consistently achieve outstanding results.
