Hi there! My name is May and I currently study Medicine at the University of Nottingham. As I just finished my A-Levels with 3 A*s last year in 2023, the exam content is still fresh in my head and I've trialled through many different revision techniques to know which ones can help you yield the best results efficiently. For my medicine application, I also had to sit the UCAT, where I scored in the 98th percentile (3110, Band 1 SJT). I've also had plenty of experience with medicine interview preparation and writing a personal statement, which resulted in 4 interviews and 3 offers. My aim with our tutoring sessions is to help you understand the exam content thoroughly and find the right revision technique for you so you can feel confident, relaxed and ready to ace your exams on the big day!

Tutoring Experience

I've helped teach Year 11 students topics like Organic Chemistry in the Chemistry clinic at my school.
I've also helped medical applicants prepare for their interviews by being an interviewer in a mock MMI, hosted by a society at my university.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is very flexible. Every student is unique, so it is important for me to know what aspect of the subject you may be struggling with and would like support on. From exam question technique to consolidating your exam content knowledge, my priority as a tutor is to make sure you leave our lessons happy and content with what you learned.
