I have taught general science and physics at all levels within secondary school and have an approachable manner, with the ability to communicate on the students level and put them at ease. I have experience with special educational needs, english as a second language, and working with autism.
I have 15 years experience as a tutor at A level in the private sector, and 15 years experience as a tutor at university level, providing academic and pastoral care. I have extensive experience constructing and delivering university lecture courses including undergraduate mathematics.
I am also currently head of physics at a respected private college, preferred tutor for Exeter College and Exeter Universities' Into Centre, with experience teaching students from the UAE. As such I am well versed in maths and physics at all levels for all examining boards, and in addition have in-depth knowledge and experience of the mathematics courses taught at the Into Centre, and the undergraduate physics and engineering courses at the university.
I am happy tutoring at all levels from KS3 to postgraduate, with a casual and informal approach that puts the student at ease and makes the topic accessible, but with an underlying focus that enables development to full potential. My communication skills are well honed, and I have the ability to communicate across the entire social spectrum at all age levels.

Working from his home, it was a friendly and relaxed environment and nothing was to much trouble, even if I required him to explain something multiple times to fully understand the issue being discussed.
Exam technique is something that is so important in the current exam system and again Matt was on top of this and we had it down to a tee by the end of our sessions.
Thank you so much Matt, If I have any problems with my university studies you'll be my first point of call!
