I am a 29 year old neuroscientist with 5 years teaching experience. I have a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Plymouth obtained in 2016.
I have experience lecturing to undergraduates as well as teaching/supervising small groups/individuals in the laboratories. I have a GTA and PGCAP600 teaching qualification. I have tutored previously during my PhD as well as in my spare time to friends and family with a good success rate! I am happy to tutor individuals or small groups of up to three.
I have a relaxed and adaptable approach to teaching and will tailor each session to the tutee's specific needs as everybody has a different learning style which requires a unique approach. Sessions will be well planned with both short-term and long-term objectives/goals to help keep track of progress.
