I am an extremely enthusiastic teacher who feels that Computing is one of the most crucial subjects. Every pupil deserves to have the best possible input to allow them to achieve their best.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 16 years and have experience in teaching National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Computing. I have been a Principal Teacher/Head of Department since 2013 and have experience in SQA marking at Higher. This is useful to help prepare tutees to develop their exam technique. In any private tutoring I have been involved in, the tutees have gone on to do very well.

Tutoring Approach

In any tutoring I have done my first aim is to get to tutee and find out where any obstacles lie. I then tailor the approach to their individual needs. As in my day to day teaching I aim to be approachable, prepared and punctual.
