I have over two decades of teaching experience, I am a highly qualified and accomplished educator at one of the nation’s top independent schools. My students consistently achieve outstanding results, as evidenced by the fact that all of my GCSE students attained a grade 8 or 9 last year and 90% of my A-level students secured an A or A* grade. Furthermore, eight of my A-level students were admitted to prestigious medical schools and another one to a renowned veterinary science programme. I have extensive knowledge and expertise in teaching Biology to A-level (AQA) and Chemistry to GCSE level (Edexcel iGCSE). I have also been an examiner since 2005 and most recently marked the AQA A-level Biology paper 3, which gives me a unique insight into the assessment criteria and expectations of the Biology A-level essay.

Tutoring Experience

Full time science teacher since 2003. I currently work in one of the highest achieving independent schools in the country where I am a head of department. I have been an A-Level biology examiner since 2005 most recently examining AQA paper 3 so I can give particular support with the essay question.

I have a proven track record of successfully tutoring students for nearly 20 years and I offer both in-person and online tutoring services. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals. I provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills and confidence. I challenge students to set high standards for themselves and to strive for excellence.
