I am French and lived in Spain for five years. I have a three year French university degree in Spanish, a European postgraduate degree in teaching foreign languages and the PGCE. I also qualified to be an examiner-corrector for the CEFRL (level A1 to C2) for French.
As a teacher, I have the experience of the PGCE, I taught in two secondary schools in Abingdon and a middle school in Oxford.
I have been tutoring for more than 20 years, one to one, small groups, after school clubs and classes in teaching organisations and businesses.
My approach to tutoring depends enormously on the students' age, wishes and needs. I encourage them to take part in a negotiated syllabus. For the adults I use mainly methods that are created by native linguists, which I complement by using reputable text books and authentic material.
For online tutoring, I use Zoom and I am open to other platforms if required. My first lesson is half the rate to participate (generously) to the platform fees.
