Bonjour, my name is Marie, older than younger, but not too much ! A liverpool lover and French national and native speaker with a passion for languages, words, and writing. I have been living here for more than 10 years. On my spare time, I enjoy everything the cultural scene has to offer : theatre, drama, exhibitions music (mainly classical, baroque, jazz, opera, but also blues, rock pop and sometimes electro). Here I love classic pubs with friends, good food, good wine and good company.
All levels and abilities beginners to advanced, children, teenagers, adults. I have 10 years experience as a French Language assistant and tutor in secondary, sixth form and adult evening classes in 1-1 and 1-10 groups (full CV available upon request). I currently work as language assistant at bsfc (since 2020) and osfc (since 2018). My past employers include Neston high, st Edwards college, the blue coat, Chester uni and ljmu as well as cactus language schools. I also have taught many tutees from adults to children, gsce and as / a levels students.
I am familiar both with Eduqas and AQA specifications. In schools I am responsible for speaking exams coaching however also have extensive experience in teaching grammar, translation, vocab, culture and contemporary topics. Plus I am a native, so I may speak fast sometimes but you can be sure you'll experience authentic French. I hold a French literature degree from a French university - 4 years degree. With honours)

Well, my approach depends on you and your needs and expectations. They usually vary a lot. I think I am flexible and approachable. I can offer a rather academic approach with a lot of grammar, or fun activities, or intuitive learning, or simply games and conversation to develop confidence in the language. It is fair to say that my tutorials are a mix of approaches and activities. But again, it will be adjusted to your learning style and preferences.

Please note that the fees advertised are for online tuitions and those in L1 or M1 public places and to a place within reasonable commute by public transport (up to 30 minutes each way) . I may add a 5 pounds fee depending on location.
