I am an experienced teacher of Italian as a foreign language. I have a genuine passion for language teaching and I see language as a powerful tool of communication across cultures. I am based in London and I teach to different levels and learning purposes. I am also interested in art, history of art and literature.
I had the opportunity to teach in different contexts, cultures and to different ages and levels. I am currently teaching Italian as a foreign language to individual students and corporate clients with different language requirements. I have also conducted a preparation course for Italian GCSE and A level exams in London.
Previously, I taught English as a foreign language to high school students and to primary school teachers in Italy. Courses included preparation for Cambridge English language examinations. I also taught English in the Middle East to University students and enjoyed working within a different cultural context. During my University studies, I volunteered teaching Italian in a school for foreign learners in my hometown in Italy.
My lessons are very interactive, communicative and pleasant. I like to be organised and I plan my lessons ahead. I care about my students’ learning progress and achievements and I am keen to guide them in a friendly, dedicated and respectful manner. One of my main goals is to enable my students to enjoy the experience of communicating, thinking and reacting in a foreign language.
