My name is Maria. I am an experienced Spanish tutor, certified examiner, and content creator specialising in the latest 2024 GCSE and A-level specifications across all major UK exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). I am a qualified teacher of Spanish, English, and Italian, with a PGCE in Spanish as a Foreign Language. My passion is helping learners of all ages overcome challenges and enjoy learning Spanish. Over the years, I have supported hundreds of GCSE, N 3-5, A-Level, DELE, and university-level students to achieve excellent results.

I offer expert support in every aspect of Spanish, including essay and writing revision, exam preparation, and all language skills. My lessons use a wide range of engaging online resources plus my own materials, which are also available on TPT and TES. Together, we will build your confidence in speaking, writing, listening, and reading Spanish.

Tutoring Experience

I am a native Spanish speaker with over 25 years’ experience living and working in the UK. My teaching career spans classrooms in Spain and the UK, including young people, adult learners, schools, academies, and private tuition. I have worked full-time as a Spanish teacher and tutor since earning my PGCE, including at a world-renowned secondary school. My experience also includes working with companies such as American Express and specialist teams helping footballers master Spanish and succeed in the DELE exams. I offer expert guidance for both academic and professional Spanish, drawing on deep knowledge of language exams, real-world use, and multicultural learning.

Before and after each lesson, I send useful documents covering topics we discuss, plus extra notes and resources, all downloadable at any time. You can also print the PDFs for easy reference. All my materials focus on the vocabulary, grammar, and core themes you need to succeed.
