English (Foreign Language)
I am presently a teacher of English language and English literature, teaching the subject to students aged eleven to eighteen.
I am very committed and dedicated to ensuring the success of my pupils and I am very good at delivering the subject at all levels.
Teaching is done from home and students will need to travel to me.
I have been teaching in varied capacities for over 20 years. I have taught in an infant centre, secondary schools, a further education college and evening class settings.
Lessons are tailored to the specific needs of my students with resources, tasks and activities to challenge and support their learning in English and in their learning overall.

It is my absolute pleasure working with your daughter and my other students. I consider it a real privilege to work with them and to see them develop and progress in the subject.
Thank you for the opportunity to work with your daughter Abbygail.
I have met with Maria today and am very impressed. My daughter is looking forward to working with her.
On another note however, the address you gave me for Maria was out of date. She has supplied you with her new address so please make sure you amend it.
Regards Mrs Crick
Thank you very much for the positive comments. However, I must apologise to you and First Tutors. We moved house recently and I did change my details on the site, unfortunately, I did not press 'update' for the change of address to take place.
I take full responsibility for this and again I apologise for the resulting confusion initially.
