Head of Science available for tutoring. I specialise in chemistry to A level and teach all sciences to GCSE. I am based in Central London.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve worked as a science tutor for over 7 years in the UK alongside my role teaching in various secondary schools. Most of my students come from recommendations of friends and family.

Tutoring Approach

I believe it is important to realise that every student is different. The great advantage of one-to-one tuition is that I can adjust my tutoring to suit the individual student. I have been teaching for almost 8 years and have catered for the needs of many different students both in the classroom and as a private tutor. I try to make the lessons as engaging as possible.

As the exams approach, I always spend a lot of time working on exam technique and going through past papers. With constant changes to the specification, I make sure I am always up to date with the most recent changes so that I cover the relevant material. I am fortunate to have access to many resources as a classroom teacher. I also mark exam papers for Edexcel so have a current knowledge of what the examiners are looking for.
