Margaret is very approachable and is incredibly knowledgeable in her area of expertise, as well as being willing to answer any homework questions outside of lesson time if needs be. Additionally, her explainations of more complex topics are very well formulated and, with regards to physics, she always links back to real world examples. She is also very engaging, in many cases letting the pupil continue a question or explaination she has started, greatly aiding understanding. All in all great tutor, would definitely recommend.

Margaret has had such a positive impact on my daughters maths study. My daughter started sessions shortly before her nat 5 exams and these really helped both her confidence and approach to exam style questions. We really wish we had found Margaret sooner but her tution definitely helped increase her predicted grades. Margarets approach and her ability to show different methods to class teachers has been so helpful and my daughter is so comfortable working with Margaret that we have continued lessons for her higher Maths.

Margaret was very pleasent and thorough with the maths tuition for my grandson.He done 2 sessions online and the remainder one to one which he found was better for him.All in all i would recommend Margaret to future students

After made contact with Margaret by email, she realised that she can not help me with the topic. I think it's not her fault for having taken this on without looking into it in more detail, because it was right before new year when we first contacted. I appreciate that she was trying her best to help and letting me know immediately when she found out she was not able to. I believe she's a very nice tutor so I rated 4.

Margaret ' qualifications speak for themselves. She is an excellent tutor. She is well organised and has thorough and very current knowledge of the curriculum. She not ony addresses current tutoring needs but links learning to future plans. Hewr time management is very good; she fills the allotted time with high quality learning.
Her attitude is very positive towards learners; she appraises strengths and weakness in a very straightforward manner. She is full of infectious enthusiasm for her subject. My son has found the her very helpful.

Having now had 4 tutor sessions Daniel has expressed a greater understanding in his Higher Physics subject. This is evident in his recent achievement of a grade B pass in his prelim. He is finding the one to one sessions, and alternative explanations of topics he found hard to comprehend at school very useful. His confidence has grown, and his aprehension in tackling the Higher Physics course has declined. Thank you for your understanding approach to a very frustrated teenager !
