Information About Margaret - Leven tutor - (7 reviews)
This is how 3 referees rated Margaret:
I am a highly qualified, experienced, enthusiastic and successful teacher. I have taught all ages and standards from primary school through university, in schools and out. At the moment I am running a music company and fit in my tutoring and music teaching around my other responsibilities.
My most recent experience has been teaching physics and mathematics at the University of St Andrews. I have also taught in Scottish secondary schools and have helped local students with their Standard and Higher grade preparations. I have taught at MIT and Stanford University in the US and at primary and secondary schools in England. I have spent time home educating my children and currently run music groups for children and adults.
I help my students to become more confident in their subject by showing them how different subjects work together. For example using physics examples to teach mathematics leads to a deeper understanding in both areas. We will look into how discoveries were made to help understand the importance of various ideas.

Her attitude is very positive towards learners; she appraises strengths and weakness in a very straightforward manner. She is full of infectious enthusiasm for her subject. My son has found the her very helpful.
I am delighted to have met her through this website.
