I am an experienced teacher of both German and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), relating well to both adults and children. In the past, I have lived and worked in Austria and Germany, and I now enjoy going there on holidays with my family.
I live in Rugby.
I have taught German and English to Speakers of Other Languages in colleges of further education in Rugby, Daventry and Leamington. However, I also have extensive experience of teaching children: running a children's German club, teaching summer courses at private language schools, tutoring, being a specialised primary teaching assistant and also teaching in Sunday School at church.
I am very friendly and patient. I can both encourage the reticent, more hesitant learner and also challenge the more competent student. I am particularly skilled in working on a one to one basis and can quickly put the learner at ease whilst also identifying areas for improvement. I am also experienced in teaching absolute beginners.
